FULL STATEMENT: President Akufo-Addo Takes Steps To Dissolve The GFA

Kuulpeeps, y’all asked for blood after the Anas Number 12 documentary was premiered.

It turns out that the President, Nana Akufo-Addo is getting ready to give y’all some.

His first action since yesterday’s premier has been to take steps to dissolve the Ghana Football Association.

The government said the documentary exposed the “gross malfunctioning of the Ghana Football Association, characterized by widespread fraud, corruption, and bribery.”

The President of the Association was filmed collecting $65,000 from ‘investors’ to influence the president and vice-president to get road contracts.

Other members of the Association and referees were also caught on camera taking bribes as low as GHS 1500 to influence premiere league games.

Kwesi Nyantakyi is currently under investigation for defrauding by false pretence.
