Let’s just go straight and look at some of the things that are exclusive to the school.

Classrooms sitting on wells

Almost all the old classroom blocks at Mawuli School are built on wells to provide water for the students when there is a water shortage.


The school has a piggery where pigs are reared to provide food for the dining hall.

The first school to use double bunk beds

Mawuli School was the first senior high school to use double bunk beds under their first headmaster Prof. Walter P Trost in the 1950s.


Mawuli School has so many boreholes than we can count.

First missionary school to be established in the Trans-Volta Togoland

Mawuli School was the first mission school to be established in the Trans-Volta Togoland, now known as the Volta Region.
