Argentina, a team that looked like it had no chance of moving on from the group stage of the 2018 FIFA World Cup, was able to qualify after a late 2-1 win over Nigeria, combined with a Croatia win over Iceland.
Thanks to the two results, the South American giants finished second in Group D in what Lionel Messi and Argentina fans will remember as a small miracle.
This user @MrCocoyam tweeted this video after Nigeria’s painful loss to Argentina.
The video of him changing a cardigan with Nigeria inscription into a cardigan with the inscription “Ghana” went viral.
He first tweeted he was solidly behind Nigeria and gave them full support from Africa
After the game, he took back his words and apologised to everyone for the tweet above.
His video got a lot of reacts with people pouncing on him for his tweet. Naija no dey carry last ooo!!
