Yesterday, our team got there just in time for the viewing of the second show despite the heavy rains. Upon arrival, we witnessed the massive crowd.
Security, however, was tight from the inside. The entrance to the hallway of the auditorium was fully packed with people trying to find shelter from the rain. Hawkers were found maneuvering through the thick crowd making business.
Well, several calls were made by individuals to alert people to protect their valuables.
After the first screening ended, the Military, Police officials and the C.I.D decided to make way for the entry of the second show.
This led to a little stampede, some ladies and gentleman dressed officially found their way into the muddy water just near a pillar. Some out of discomfort and dissatisfaction stormed out of the premises and headed to their various homes.
After some few minutes, the crowd was controlled by the security agencies. The second phase of security was where all items were scanned to make sure nothing threatening was sent inside. But due to the number of people who entered, you’d find about three (3) people making their way through the metal detector which was meant for one person.
The security inside was very tight. The national colours were used as decoration for the interior. Gary Al-Smith was the host of the program that was sponsored by Multimedia Group. The National anthem was sung and the viewing began. Tensions in the room were high due to the eagerness of people waiting to feast their eyes on the greedy money sucking referees and other football administrators, including Kwesi Nyantakyi.
The referees include James Osafo, Jason Nunoo, Kennedy Bentil, Adams Badiu, Alhassan Badiu, Safi Adade, Samuel Sukah and Kyereme Yeboah. The rest are Cecil Flecther, Nathan Anafo, Harry Atitonu, Umar Teni Wellington, Charles Dawouna and Rahman Salifu. Then some match commissioners (took money) and some FA chairmen manipulating matches (influencing 3rd division game). A lot of matches with bribed officials were about Accra Hearts of Oak. And you’d find referees working together from the centre referee to the linesmen (modus operandi).
The most high ranking female GFA member, Leaner Addy also was caught in the scandal. She took a GHS 300 bribe to influence a female league match.
But not everyone targeted fell victim.

The crowd couldn’t hold their peace anytime huge sums of money was transacted. After the viewing, the cognitive side of Ghanaians came to life. People stood by analyzing the content, some made unhealthy comments about the corrupt nature of the officials. The last show was no different in relation to the mode of entering. They were eager to watch the #number12 expose.
