H.E Kufuor Wants Ghanaians To Be Shocked By Anas’ Video

An earthquake is one of those natural disasters that doesn’t warn us before it hits us.

It just springs up on you and all of a sudden your life is changed forever, especially if you are caught in the epicentre.

But, this earthquake is so rare that we can foretell its occurrence.

By the end of tomorrow (June 6, 2018) Ghana and football, as we know them, will never be the same.

Blame that on Anas Aremeyaw Anas who chose to expose the corruption and the ugliness inherent in the beautiful game.

With millions of Ghanaian fans chanting every day and cheering on their favourite teams to glory, others, including dozens of referees, meet on the sidelines and preempt the outcome of the game we have grown to love.

Very few flattened street corners have been saved from not being used as a makeshift football pitch by young people in the community.

When our governments have failed and the economy is that difficult, falling in love with football has been a great escape from reality.

Now, that is also taken from us. The beauty of luck in football has been substituted with referees preplanning when to award a foul.

For this, the former President, John Agyekum Kufuor wants Ghanaians to be shocked by what our football has been turned into when we watch Number 12.

“I believe Ghana is a country of laws and the investigations should be put to work and of course, the outcome be applied strictly according to law,” the former President said in a new promotional video shared by Anas ahead of tomorrow’s Number 12 premiere.
