Classrooms sitting on wells
Almost all the old classroom blocks at Mawuli School are built on wells to provide water for the students when there is a water shortage.
The school has a piggery where pigs are reared to provide food for the dining hall.
The first school to use double bunk beds
Mawuli School was the first senior high school to use double bunk beds under their first headmaster Prof. Walter P Trost in the 1950s.
