Oh, just when some of us are about to start the internship and some others prepare for National Service, the Ghana Private Road Transport Union (GPRTU) has announced a 10% increase in transport fares across all category of services effective June 4.
This Monday, you will be paying a little more for the same journey.
According to the Union, they had to increase the fares due to the rising fuel prices as well as maintenance cost and other commercial driving-related expenses.
Charley… the going is getting tougher…
Better make sure that internship is worth it because all that lorry fare and not gaining any relevant industry experience is just one big CRIME.
