Soon and very soon, we will start flying in the Baby Jet Airlines.
Since President Nana Akufo-Addo announced that Ghanaian international footballer and captain of the national Black Stars team, Asamoah Gyan had obtained a license to start his own airline, we became super proud.
Some fraudsters took advantage of that and started running a recruitment scam to steal money from young Ghanaians who wanted to be part of this great Asamoah Gyan venture.
But a couple of weeks later, Asamoah Gyan officially announced a general recruitment programme for the aptly named Baby Jet Airlines.
Yesterday, Asamoah Gyan and his team visited the Minister of Aviation, Cecilia Abena Dapaah and her officers to brief them on work done so far ahead of the first Baby Jet Airline flight.
“Paid a courtesy call on the Ministry of Aviation and the Hon. Minister, Madam Cecilia Abena Dapaah with my team to brief Her on the status and progress of BabyJet Airlines,” he said in a tweet.
