Since 2014, the Mandela Washington Fellows has been the flagship program of the Young African Leaders Initiative (YALI), which empowers young people through academic coursework, leadership training, and networking.
Each year, a select group of inspiring young Africans between the ages of 25 and 25 are chosen for a six-week training course at a top U.S. university in one of three different tracks: Business and Entrepreneurship, Civic Leadership or Public Management.
