A couple of weeks ago, Childish Gambino debuted his visual for his song ”This is America”; the video showcases the racism and everyday struggles of African Americans in America. We all know that being Black in America has its oppressive moments especially when it comes to the police and the justice system; the song also discusses the current state of hip-hop, the new generation rappers, and black culture.

Since the release of the visuals, other artists and comedians reenacted the visual making it relevant to their country.

Falz Thebahdguy has realized his version of “This is America” called “This is Nigeria”; where he discusses issues like the kidnapping of the Boko Harem girls, money laundering and of course the government.

Others choose to make light of the message and purpose behind the video; comedians like mrcocoyam  also remade the video in a comical viewpoint.

What are your thoughts? Which Ghanaian artist do you guys think should remake of ”This is America”?
