Echo House CEO, Beryl Agyekum Ayaaba Joins Akufo-Addo, Georgina Wood & Others As Speakers At The 2018 #OxfordAfricaConference

Our superwoman is out there pulling boss moves and standing up to be counted.

As the Chief Executive Officer of the 360 marketing communications agency, Echo House, Beryl Agyekum Ayaaba and other young African leaders have been invited to speak at the 2018 #OxfordAfricaConference in the United Kingdom.

The 2018 Oxford Africa Conference aims to examine the current social, political and economic landscape in Africa and provoke more pragmatic ways through which African countries can reposition themselves in relation to these dimensions.

The Conference will focus on how to move beyond the rhetoric and bring to the fore contentious organizational, structural and societal issues that are rarely addressed adequately, but collectively are key for the continent’s forward trajectory.

The two-day conference includes 13 sessions and workshop sessions on topics ranging from politics, business, feminism, climate change among others.

Beryl will serve as a panellist on one of the key sessions of the 2018 Oxford Africa Conference. Her panel will discuss “Building our own African Brands from the ground up through Innovation & Entrepreneurship.”

Anita Erskine is also one of the panellists from Ghana. Her panel will look at “African Art & Media – Its role in entertainment and public expressions on social and cultural issues”.

Also, business and management specialist, Edna Addo will join a panel to discuss “Shaping an Inclusive Business Landscape:  Foreign Direct Investment for Social Progress & Innovation.”

MP & Deputy Information Minister, Nana Ama Dokuaa will also speak in a session on “Not too Young to Lead – A new generation of Leaders in Party Politics and Elected Public Office.”

Former Chief Justice, Georgina Wood is a keynote speaker at the conference and the President, H.E Nana Akufo-Addo will deliver a speech too.

In the spirit of concrete action, the key resolutions of the Conference will be collated and passed on to key decision makers in African institutions such as the African Union (AU) and key regional blocks mainly as Southern Africa Development Community (SADC), Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) and East African Community (EAC)
