National Service Personnel Association of Ghana Supports Government’s NABCO That Pays GHS 700 A Month


The National Service Personnel Association of Ghana (NASPA) is commending the government for starting the Nation Builders Corps programme.

The new programme is focused on solving public service delivery in the health, education, agriculture and sanitation sectors as well as drive revenue mobilization and collection.

“We take note of the research by the Institute of Statistical, Social and Economic Research (ISSER) that only 10% of graduates find jobs after their national service and it can take up to 10 years for a large number of graduates to secure employment,” a NASPA statement signed by its President, Allen Obeng Asare and obtained by said.

NASPA has welcomed the introduction of the Nation Builders Corps programme, which would in the first year engage the services of one hundred thousand (100,000) Ghanaian unemployed youth.

“NASPA admonishes the youth of Ghana to take advantage of this programme and meaningfully contribute their quota towards the development of Ghana.”


NASPA also congratulated the acting Executive Director of the National Service Scheme, Hon. Mustapha Ussif, for receiving the award as the “Best Young CEO for the year 2017” at the 8th Entrepreneurs & Corporate Executive Awards programme.
