#UGDecides’18: Team Schandorf Leads In Vetting Results Released By The Electoral Commission

Yesterday, all SRC aspirants were vetted at the SRC Union building and well, there was an acting Legal Advisor so yeahhh Vetting happened.

In a statement obtained by, the SRC Electoral Commission revealed the results of the Vetting and it appears all candidates did extremely well with Schandorf and his running mate leading with 88.06%.

You May notice Razak and Boadi are no longer in the race for any SRC position. Razak dropped out due to his inability to find a worthy running mate and Boadi, after dropping from SRC president Aspirant to Treasurer Aspirant did not show up for Vetting at all.

In the meantime, here are your SRC position aspirants as published by the SRC electoral commission:

“Subject to article 30 of the SRC constitution and rule 6 of the constitutional instrument, the above office is by this notice publishing the results obtained by the various aspirants after their vetting, held on the 6th of April 2018, at the union building.

Vetting Results are as follows:


1.Ewura Adams Karim and Nana Akua Busia – 73.63%

2. Kingsley Adu-Otchere and Maimuna Zakaria Adam. – 79.81%

3.Clement Bofa-Oppong and Kwaku Afful Appiah – 75.56%

4. Derrick Schandorf Ayirebi-Acquah and Senaya Aku Dzidedzi – 88.06%

5. Sylvester Amoako and Adom Anorkwah – 72.12%


1.Cornelia Kafui Djordjormey – 74.44%

2.Sophia Abena Serwaa Otoo – 73.25%


1.Smith Dumenyo – 67.36%

NB: Pursuant to rule 7 of the constitutional instrument, all the above candidates are eligible to contest this year’s elections.
