#UENRDecides: UENR SRC And Local NUGS Elections Have Been Postponed And This Is Why

The Electoral Commission of UENR would like to make the student populace aware that the UENR SRC and LOCAL NUGS elections have been postponed due to inconveniences.

Remember the scandal with Benjamin Ofoe?

Oh, you didn’t hear about it?

Well apparently, he took the Electoral Commission to court. The funny part is, it wasn’t even over his case, but over the E-voting that has been going on for a couple of years now.

And predictably, he lost the case.

Now the pending case that has stalled the Election process is, Team Gyimah has also taken the Electoral Commission to court because he was disqualified.

A 10-day injunction was placed on the Election after that and the day they were supposed to show up at court, Lawyer for the Plaintiff, Team Gyimah didn’t show up.

The case was therefore adjourned.
