The Handing over ceremony for this year, that will see the transfer of power from outgoing Mr. Henry Arthur to the ‘’president-elect’’-Mr. John Kpodo has been mired with threats of disruption from aggrieved students who claim to be dissatisfied with the results of the election that was held on 27th March 2018.

A statement released by the management of the school indicates that they have information that some students of the school who are dissatisfied with the results of the elections intend to disrupt the SRC handing over ceremony scheduled to take place on Wednesday 25th April 2018.

The management of the school further advised that all aggrieved students are to follow the due processes of the university to address their challenges and observe the Dispute Resolution Procedure of the electoral rules.

It is unclear which group of students intend to disrupt the ceremony but many allege that the group of intended rioters are supporters of one of the presidential candidates (name withheld) who lost in the elections.
