Before we say anything, do you remember what the first two awards were?
No, you don’t because we bet you didn’t sit behind your TV to see Instrumentalist of the Year or some Life Achievement Award.
Now let’s get down to real business and discuss some of the things you might have missed at the show.
Vodafone Glam Cam
Vodafone had set up a booth where celebs were taking pictures and they called it the Glam Cam. It had the attention of everyone in the lobby and there was no way you would go past it without taking some shots! They really spoil there hard!
Nasty C
Many of us were at the AICC because of the ‘coolest kid in Africa,’ he had a good entry in particular except that the South African artiste fell right before he appeared on stage. You would have only noticed it if you were seated in front.
It didn’t end there. Right before his performance ended, he had some issues with the technical team, as the background music went off.
Samini’s saxophonist
Forget about Sarkodie’s performance, Samini’s saxophone instrumentalist stole the show! We think he had the best performance of the night!
Joselyn Dumas
Maybe you didn’t realize this but Joselyn Dumas was the most beautiful woman of the night! She didn’t dress gidigidi but she was on piont! Take a bow boo.
Best VGMA ever!
Who’s not with us on this? Undoubtedly, this is the best Ghana Music Awards we’ve witnessed in recent times. Everything was on point! Form timing to the stage setup to the performances, the awards, everything was gye!
Patapaa
We all knew Patapaa was at the VGMA and of course, he was there to win an award, especially the Vodafone Song of the Year. We all know he didn’t win the award, but this is what actually happened…
Right after Fancy Gadam was announced as the winner of that category, Patapaa angrily walked out of the auditorium because he felt he was robbed.
