Yesterday, the 3 Music Network handed out its first ever 3 Music Awards at an event held inside the Fantasy Dome at the Trade Fair.

With Zylofon Media lining up an impressive squad of artistes in the nomination list, it is perhaps no surprise that between them they took home 9 of the 3 Music Awards.

Yeah, Nana Appiah Mensah must be really proud of his team.

There were 21 music awards available for grabs last night out of which Zylofon won 9, leaving the other record labels to battle for the remaining 12 wards.

Dancehall artiste, Shatta Wale won the most awards of the night taking home 4 of the 9 Zylofon Awards.

He won the Song of the Year award, Male Act of the year, Fan Army of the Year and the Facebook Star of the year award.

Winning the Song of the year for his hit song “Ayoo” also meant that Shatta Wale took home the Producer, Songwriter and sound engineer of the year.
