It’s getting funny and yet somehow serious at the same time.
In certain regards, the Stonebwoy and Zylofon Media fight is looking like one of those cooked up publicity stunt series of stories and in the same breath it damn right borders on issues of law – most especially, contract law.
You should know that Dancehall artist and “Epistles Of Mama” hitmaker, Stonebwoy is signed to the Zylofon Media record label.
All was going well until Zylofon Media decided to sign a disruptive musician, Shatta Wale too.
Stonebwoy started rebelling and acting like a dejected stepchild at Zylofon.
That ushered in an entire series of events which included gunshots at a point.

The latest in this unending fight is an apparent attempt by Stonebwoy to breach his contract with Zylofon Media by reportedly agreeing to perform at the VGMA nominees jam without notifying Zylofon Media.
The record label’s lawyers wrote to Charter House, the organizers of the VGMA, for an explanation.
Now it seems Zylofon Media has given its consent for Stonebwoy to perform at the VGMA nominees jam.
However, Zylofon Media somehow feels insecure and thinks there is the need to release this statement to the public.
“Notice is hereby given that Zylofon Media Limited has an Artist Management and Recording Agreement with Livingstone Este Satekla (Stonebwoy).” a part of the statement read.
“The consent and approval of Zylofon Media Limited are required for any agreement with the artist in respect of performance, vaudeville (collaborations), promotion and sale of his image et al.”
Lol… Either Stonebwoy is really giving the Zylofon Media guys a headache or it is just a thirst for media attention…
