Last weekend, everybody trooped to Liman hall to jam at their artiste night. Clearly, everyone had heard about the Zylofon music collaboration and were expecting the whole slew of Zylofon signees to perform.
Talk of Stonebwoy leaving Zylofon media earlier in the day kind of made everyone sceptical about he coming to perform since the artiste night was even dubbed “Zylofon Cash Invasion”. The question on everyone’s mind was, “ if the Stonebwoy leaving Zylofon media rumour is true, then he probably won’t come and perform at all right?”
Well, out of all the artists scheduled to perform, only Stonebwoy made an appearance but before he did, eyewitnesses say that, Zylofon banners were taken off and rolled away, a canopy backstage had to be removed and even one of the MCs had to take off his Zylofon branded T-Shirt.
A source confirmed that the Hall’s executives were instructed to take off everything that had the Zylofon brand on it by Stonebwoy’s people because he didn’t want to see anything that had the Zylofon brand on it.
Despite everything, no one thought anything was wrong and everyone enjoyed the performance until Sunday morning, the news of Bulldog allegedly heckling Stonebwoy’s people with a couple of goons surfaced.
According to Stonebwoy, in an interview with Joy fm, after he finished his performance at Limann, he headed over to the Champs bar to support Kelvinbwoy, one of his protégés at his concert there.
They heard gunshots and his brother was attacked by goons acting on the orders of the music producer, Bulldog who he clearly states was there. They were reportedly there to repossess the cars given to Stonebwoy by Zylofon media. Stonebwoy’s brother’s wallet containing GHS 5000 was stolen as well during the kerfuffle.
“…if not for my bodyguard, they would have driven my car away and that would have been something else”, Stonebwoy said.
For now, he said his manager, Black Cedi is in control of the situation.
