Anthony Harkayor, a level 300 student of the University of Energy and Natural Resources, whose stage name is Ay Tee, realized his love for music at a very early age (10). He always bought books that contained lyrics of his favourite songs and he would sing along as he listened to his MP3 player which was his only source of entertainment back then.
He kept reading and singing along to songs till he realized he could write his own songs too and that was when he started nursing his passion for music.
In his first year at Prempeh College, he broke bounds to record his first song at a recording studio after years of just writing songs.
His first experience in the studio had its good side and its bad side. On the good side, he had finally accomplished a feat that was long overdue and that gave him the feeling of satisfaction knowing that he was now a step ahead in his music career. On the not too good side, the producer knowing very well that he was just a first-year SHS student made sure he undermined the effort of Ay Tee.
There, he decided to learn production on his own. He taught himself beat making, mixing and mastering in three years.
Before he entered the university he had set up a home studio to put into practice everything he learnt over the years.
He has worked with wavy producers like SoBeatzGH, D-worm etc. He Dropped a danceable tune he called “One Side” that featured Delphick and Big B, that song made waves in the Brong Ahafo Region.
He got better and better with time. Recently, he produced masterpieces which include ‘She Ain’t Know’, “Grind To The Grave” and more. The Streets should keep an eye out for this Kuulpeep.
