Sarkodie Rants About Road Safety Awareness On Twitter Ahead Of Ebony’s Funeral

The final funeral rites of Dancehall Queen, Ebony Reigns is this weekend.

As it is with losing someone you care about, one sort of start to think about them as the day of their final funeral rites approaches.

Hiplife artist, Sarkodie who is booked to perform at the Ebony tribute concert this Friday has taken to Twitter to mourn the dancehall artist and throw a spotlight on how dangerous our roads have become.

Road safety is a topical issue in the country – Ebony and many other celebrities have been lost in road accidents.

Everybody has got a part to play to ensure that our roads are safe.

The driver, passenger, police and the government have roles to play.

All of us need to make our roads safer.

Ebony will be laid in state at the forecourt of the state house from 5 am on Saturday, March 24. The funeral church service will also be held at the same venue.

Ebony was killed in a gory accident on the Sunyani-Kumasi highway after visiting her mother in February.

She died alongside her friend, Franky Kuri and Francis Atsu Vondee, a military officer who were travelling with her.

Franky Kuri was laid to rest on March 3.
