Social media, Facebook to be precise is mourning the death of one of its avid users, Dr Prosper Yao Tsikata.
He was one who never shied away from expressing his views on topical national issues.
As someone who always wanted to remain fit, Dr Prosper Tsikata’s rather untimely death came unexpectedly at the gym while he was reportedly working out.
“Apparently, he collapsed and run out of breath, leading to his death,” his Uncle, Dr Anthony Dotse is quoted to have said.
Dr Prosper Yao Tsikata is one of those amazing Ghanaians who keeps making us super proud.
Before obtaining a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Cape Coast, he attended Anlo Senior High School and Ada Teaching College.
He got himself a Master of Science in Applied Social Research, Master of Arts in Communication & Development Studies and a Master of Science in Journalism and Public Relations from the University of Hull, Ohio University and the E.W. Scripps School of Journalism, respectively.
He went back to Ohio University to study for his PhD in Health and Organizational Communication.
As part of his stellar career, he has a working stint at the United Nations under his belt.
He loved to write and preferred to tear up African leaders who do nothing but lip service.
His facebook wall is filled with him moving at government for their inability to perform, sometimes when it’s required, he praises government.
His ability to express his ideas has endeared him to many Facebook users.
Dr Proper Yao Tsikata became one of very few Facebook opinion leaders whose position on national issues was widely welcomed.
RIP Prosper Yao Tsikita.
