We told y’all after the one-week celebration of the passing of dancehall artiste, Ebony Reigns that her final funeral rites would be held on March 17.
Later we told y’all that the family has chosen the independence square as the funeral grounds.
Reports suggest that those two key details have changed.
Ebony’s family has reportedly decided to perform her final funeral rites on the 24th March, instead of the 17th at the forecourt of the State House instead of the Independence square.
This is because, both the independence square and the forecourt of the state house have been booked for other events on the 17th.
The 24th of March clashes with the 3Music Awards night, some are expecting the awards scheme to celebrate the dancehall artiste who certainly influenced Ghanaian music despite her short life.
It is also clashing with the final funeral rites of Francis Atsu Vondee, the military officer who died alongside Ebony. His final funeral rites will be held at Adidome in the Volta Region.
Last Saturday, Franky Kuri who also died alongside the music star was laid to rest after a mass at the Prince of Peace Catholic Church, Kwashieman.
Ebony Reigns, Franky Kuri and Francis Atsu Vondee passed away in a gory accident on the Sunyani-Kumasi highway after the music star visited her mother in Sunyani on February 8.
