Last year, Shatta Wale outdid himself with all the Twitter beefs.
No mention of the Yaa Pono fight, the Stonebwoy fight, then using Twitter to get himself an audience with H.E Nana Akufo-Addo and the Wizkid fans beef.
Last year was all about Shatta Wale and it’s no surprise that he has been ranked as the most influential Ghanaian on social media in 2017.
Shatta Wale who rose from the 15th position in 2016 ranking, beat off competition from all top Ghanaians on social media to attain the eminent position that makes him the Ghanaian brand with the most engagement on social media in Ghana.
Following him keenly are Footballer, Kevin-Prince Boateng, rapper Sarkodie and Actor John Dumelo.
These personalities and more were monitored on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram throughout 2017 and aside from their total followership; Growth Difference, Engagements, Post Reach and Mentions in 2017 were also considered in the research for this ranking.
New entrants to the 2017 ranking include M.anifest, Dr. Mensa Otabil, Bishop Dag Heward-Mills, Asamoah Gyan and Christian Atsu.
