NSS Applicants Will No Longer Have To Form Long Queues For Registration

The acting Executive Director of the National Service Scheme, Mr Mustapha Ussi has revealed that the 2018/2019 service applicants will not have to form long queues to undergo registration.

This is because the NSS processes are going to be paperless, which means everything will now be done online.

He made this known at the one-day stakeholder’s conference organised by the management of the Ghana National Service Scheme (NSS) on Friday. The maiden conference, which was held under the theme: “Strengthening NSS Database for Effective Deployment” had regional directors of the scheme and representatives of public and private tertiary institutions deliberating on how to achieve their goals and strengthen their database.

The paperless move will facilitate effective deployment of personnel and also eliminate fraud and impersonation. It will also reduce delays, errors, inconsistencies, human interventions and make data easily accessible to the NSS for a smoother and effective personnel registration and posting.
