Akon Was On The Verge Of Signing Ebony Before Her Sudden Death

Since Ebony’s passing, most Ghanaians have now come to understand her true star power.

It has been revealed that she was in talks to join Zylofon Media, now according to Bullet, CEO of Rufftown Records, Akon’s Convict Music was on the verge of signing the late dancehall diva, Ebony Reigns.

Speaking to Abeiku Santana Monday evening on Okay FM, Bullet revealed that negotiations were ongoing between the two parties.

He said the deal almost went through before the untimely death of the musician.

On the other hand, Bullet mentioned that the Konvict deal was more than $100,000 so he didn’t understand why Zylofon Media CEO, Nana Appiah Mensah was gonna approach him with that amount.

He also stated that the team had already spent more than $200,000 on Ebony so he wasn’t going to receive anything below that.

Ebony met her untimely death last Thursday on her way back from Sunyani to Accra.
