Ghana’s only representative at the 2018 Winter Olympic Games has been making us feel jolly good about being Ghanaian.
He is the second Ghanaian to represent us at a Winter Olympics Competition.
Early today, Akwasi started his Olympics competition by facing off with other Skeleton competitors from around the world.
He finished in the 30th position in the final practice heat, he completed the course in 53.97 seconds (54 seconds).
Tomorrow, Akwasi will be back on the course. This time, he has to get into the Top 20 position before he can qualify for the next stage of the competition.
We wish you all the best Akwasi. Ghana is behind you.
