Legon: Ebony Was Scheduled To Perform At The Pent Hallweek This February

Everyone is in mourning and sounds from the Dancehall artiste, Ebony Reigns is blaring from many rooms on the Legon campus.

Lecture halls are filled with students barely paying attention to the lecturers as most of them are on their phones, scrolling through social media and websites to confirm if what everyone was saying is true.

Priscilla Opoku-Kwarteng popularly known as Ebony lost her life late last night in a car accident.

Information reaching us and confirmed by the Pent hall executives is that the 90s bad gyal was scheduled to perform at the most anticipated hall week on campus in just a few weeks.

The hall week, themed Afrocentrix slated to start on 25th February and end on 3rd March, was going to have Ebony perform her back-to-back hits to climax the hall week celebration this year.

This wouldn’t be the first time Ebony has performed on Legon campus. She put on quite a show last two years at the Pent hallweek and just last semester, she was at the Jubilish hallweek to grace Echo House’s Fresh ‘A’ Fair stage.

Obviously, her stage presence and love for life will be missed greatly on campus.

RIP Ebony Reigns.
