Legon: An Invitation To A Public Lecture On Sustainable Development Goals

The Queen of Belgium, Her Majesty Queen Mathilde and the Vice Prime Minister of Belgium, Alexander De Croo are in Ghana for a visit.

The visit of the Queen is part of a broader global campaign for the accelerated implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and as part of her programme, Her Majesty Queen Mathilde will be delivering a Public Lecture on the topic, The SDGs: A Transformative Agenda For The Future We Want this Friday, 9th February 2018 at the Great Hall of University of Ghana, Legon from 2:30 pm-3: 30 pm.

The President of Ghana, His Excellency Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo-Addo who is also the co-chair of the United Nations Secretary General’s Group of Eminent Advocates on the SDGs will be attending this Public Lecture and will also be delivering Special Remarks.

Students of the University of Ghana are however invited to this Lecture and also entreated to make good use of this Public Lecture to learn more about the SDGs and also contribute towards achieving the SDGs.
