Let’s take a look at the story she shared.

#TBT: THE BIG MOMENT 👩🏾‍💻Flashback to 2 years ago when God used @melissaruderman and @xtinaaaa to shift my life! I remember minding my business and just grinding odee hard (at the time, I had another client so I was a solo stylist already but it was still a female) so when that text came thru from Melissa for Sean, it read: Hey girl, would you want to do Big Sean for Grammys – I was like (in my mind) woahhhh, a male client and my first event with him is going to be THE GRAMMY’S!! I was everything you could have imagined – nervous, scared, excited, overjoyed (could I pull this off?) with such a huge talent? I was so used to styling just women that I almost believed that was the one type of clientele I would ever get to work with. However, I did believe that with all my years of assisting and learning my skill that I would be ok. I had to get over my nerves, learn how to tie a bowtie and keep it pumping lol. Lord knows that boost of confidence was crucial. NOT only did I get to style @bigsean for The Grammys in 2016 but his entire look went VIRAL! Twitter, IG, my phone was blowing up, I got home that evening to so many emails requesting interviews- one in particular that stood out was @billboard magazine! This iconic platform was on my line trying to talk to me about what inspired MY look. Boy was I excited, hype and happy (because Sean was also sooo amazingly pleasant to work with) Moral of this LONGEST post I ever wrote – TRUST YOURSELF, TRUST YOUR TALENT and know that YOU GOT THIS just let go of that one thing that’s holding you back.. FEAR. #Grammys2018 were back and I can’t wait til my anniversary with one of my most loyal clients Sunday🙏🏾 #Grammys2018 #AccordingtoAde

The moral of the story is never get comfortable in one lane, explore your talent, believe in your talent and never let fear of failure hold you back.
