Have you ever watched a music video and the only thing that captured your attention was the styling? And you start to wonder… like wow who is the stylist? Yea it happens to us all the time, so we decided to share our most fashionable music videos of 2017-2018, both Nigerian and Ghanaian.
Tiwa Savage-All over
The use of color blocking is what caught our eyes, many people are scared of color blocking with bright colors but she pulled it off. The choice of outfits also matched perfectly with the setting. It was so South Beach Miami, we love it.
Wizkid- Come Closer
YESS YESS YESS!! Since he shot two videos of this song, it was hard for us to choose but hands down this was the best video he shot, from the models to Wizkid himself, to the setting and the portrait shots. The use of African print mixed with different prints were life. You can not focus on anything else but the outifts in this video.
Fancy Gadam ft Patronking- Customer
The fact that the model wore a down jacket as a dress with sneakers is what sold us on this video.
The use of african print mixed with the tribal paint and statues was perfectly excuted. Also the Tailoring of his suit was amazing.
Tiwa Savage ft Wizkid-Ma Lo
This video!! Do we need to say more!! First off all, it is on point with every fashion trend this season; leather, fur, pink hair to wiz kids red Barrette!! Amazing.
Major Lazer -Particula
This video paid homage to all the different eras, it also excuted each trend from the different era’s perfectly.
This video brought back memories like P Diddy and Mase 90’s video memories mixed with a futuristic vibe. This years trends is sheer plastic trench coats and leather and Davido definitely gave us that.
Adina ft Sarkodie -Makoma
A very simple and clean video. The design of her dress is beautiful.
Captain Planet -Sanglabelegbe
Very minimal styling, simple yet chic.
Mayorkun -Che Che
The lyrics of the song say it all. Everything on fleek fleek fleek.
Feli Nuna-Afro Magic
The creative use of the African print and culture was brillaint.
She looks amazing! A very afrocentric vibe, we love it.
