Well, for those of you who don’t know him, Kofi Anyidoho is a renowned poet and a Professor of Literature at the Department of English, University of Ghana, Legon.
He turned 70 on July 25th, 2017 and in marking this important milestone, the Department of English at the University of Ghana, Legon will be hosting a three-day International Symposium and Spoken Word Festival from Thursday, December 14 to Saturday, December 16, 2017 to Celebrate the Legacy of Kofi Anyidoho in African Literature and Culture.
The program outline for the festival is as follows:

There will also be a performance by the legend, Kofi Anyidoho himself. So like look sharp and make it a point to be there!!
