Rick Ross and other MMG fans have started a #FreeMeekMill campaign .
On Monday evening (Nov. 13), fans and well wishers of Meek Mill gathered at the Criminal Justice Center in Philadelphia for a rally —a call for justice for the rapper and others.
In one clip, Ross — Mill’s Maybach Music Group label boss — addressed the crowd: “I’m here to support my brother Meek Mill. I want y’all to understand that if it takes Meek Mill to draw this attention, we gonna use Meek Mill to draw this attention that is gonna speak for so many others.”
Many in the crowd chanted “Free Meek Mill” and sang the rapper’s “Dreams and Nightmares” intro together at the rally, which was planned to begin in front of Philadelphia’s Criminal Justice Center at 5 p.m.

Meek Mill was sentenced to 2-4 years in prison after he violated his probation.
Many celebrities, including rapper Jay Z think the sentence was harsh and the rapper didn’t deserve it.
