Hello my fellow kuulpeeps!!!
As students, we sometimes have our taste buds craving for sumptuous desserts like cupcakes, brownies, waffles, and what not. But the problem arises when your hostel manager doesn’t allow students to cook in their hostels. You could alternatively use a griddle or a portable electric stove, like the one shown below. Newer versions don’t consume a lot of energy. wink*
For students who are allowed to cook in your hostels, feel free to explore your cooking creativity.
Pancakes are easy to make and consume less time. It takes about 30 minutes to prepare. You can eat breakfast like a queen or king by just preparing some amazing mouth-watering pancakes and topping it off with some chocolate syrup and sprinkles or some whipped cream or ice-cream. You can pair it with some hot chocolate or flavoured tea as you please.
- 3 tablespoons of melted butter
- In a large bowl, sift together the flour, baking powder, salt and sugar. Make a well in the center and pour in the milk, egg and melted butter; mix until smooth.
- Heat a lightly oiled griddle or frying pan over medium high heat. Pour or scoop the batter onto the griddle, using approximately 1/4 cup for each pancake. Brown on both sides and serve hot.
Yum Yum Yum!!! Says the taste buds.
