The Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology has been selected to host the students’ Nobel Prize Challenge HULT PRIZE.
The aim of the Hult Prize is to breed the next wave of social entrepreneurs from university campuses around the world, with over 1000 institutions competing every year for $1M Grand Prize in about 150 destinations of countries.
What’s the challenge?
“How can you transform the lives of 10million people in the world through the power of Energy in thematic areas such water, Agriculture, Connectivity, Mobility.”
How do I participate?
Students only need to form a group of three or four and register through the website of Hult Prize for KNUST, download the Challenge and start preparing to compete. A day for the event will be communicated to you soon.
The winners of this event out of about 10 or more teams on campus will be sponsored to represent KNUST to compete with other universities like MIT, Princeton, Cambridge, Oxford, Massachusetts in any of the regional finals that take place in Boston, San Francisco, Shanghai , London or Dubai, in March 2018. The best teams will then progress to Hult Prize Accelerator programs. The best six teams will proceed to the finals, which takes place at the UN headquarters every year in New York.
Don’t miss this glorious opportunity to represent yourself, school and country at the global stage.
