There has been a post going round on Facebook about President Donald Trump approving US Embassy Scholarships for Africans and encouraging individuals to apply.
The US Embassy in Ghana has however put up a post on their Facebook, stating that this is false.
As part of their Cyber Security Awareness Month campaign, they put out another post to show interested persons the website they could visit to get legit Educational Opportunities in the USA.
They also pointed out that misspellings, bad punctuation and shady URLs are some of the ways to spot such scams.
