Since 2009, the 21st of September has been celebrated as a holiday and knowing Ghanaians we will jump at any opportunity to jam.
Ato Ulzen-Appiah (@Abocco) and his team (GhanaThink Foundation) however decided to find a more unique way to jam.
Have you ever heard of the National Volunteer Day?
National Volunteer Day is an initiative of GhanaThink Foundation’s Ghana Volunteer Program, which seeks to encourage volunteerism in Ghana. Each year around this time, the program urges individuals and organizations to organize/partake in volunteer activities or community service.
Last year’s event had over 60 registered and organized activities and these activities directly impacted the lives of thousands of people.

Description: Aid the aged is the newest programme by the CSR Hub . It is targeted at visiting the old folks who have been neglected and are living under bad conditions and are Ill. we’ll visit them to clean and offer medical aid where necessary. Description: We will be painting and weeding around the Epicentre special School.
Location: From Mallam Junction (off the N1 – George Bush HighWay) travel along the Mallam-Gbawe Road towards Gbawe CP Junction ( Nii Kpakpafio Road). Travel up the hill and turn left at the Pentecost Guest House Junction. The Epicentre is signed posted from here. Follow the sign and turn right and then first right.
