JUST IN: Serena Williams Is In Labour And This Is What You Need To Know

Multiple sources report that Serena Williams is in labor with her first child! She claimed the entire first floor of St. Mary’s Medical Center Wednesday, before being induced Thursday, The Shade Room reports.

She is said to have checked into the hospital on Wednesday with the entire first floor cleared for security measures.

Williams, who revealed her pregnancy in April on Snapchat, is engaged to Reddit co-founder Alexis Ohanian, 33.

Serena recently said she reckons she’s going to have a baby girl, according to The Mirror.

In an interview with American Vogue, she revealed she thinks she’s definitely having a daughter.

“Two weeks after we found out, I played the Australian Open,” the proud mum-to-be explained.

“I was playing in 100-degree weather, and that baby never gave me any trouble.

“Ride or die. Women are tough that way.”

She was also very honest about her fear of pain, saying: “I’m not a spring chicken, The Mirror writes.

“The one thing I really want is an epidural, which I know a lot of people are against, but I’ve had surgeries galore, and I don’t need to experience any more pain if I can avoid it.”
