KFC Osu spells out the adage of “Disability is not Inability”
For the kind of service that they render, you wouldn’t expect that they would hire people with hearing disabilities.
They beat the odds and hired a group of people with hearing impairments to serve customers with hearing impairments.
The CEO of KFC Africa, Doug Smart (@RealDougSmart) couldn’t help but share how elated he was about a hearing impaired team and even spent sometime interacting with them.
Humbled to meet the hearing impaired team members at the Osu store in @KFC_Ghana. What a great initiative! pic.twitter.com/SHFzxzmLPd

Some customers shared on social media their thoughts after they met the team at the Osu branch of KFC.
"…She's a lady, deaf and dumb BUT attends to customers, notwithstanding…"#KFCOsu

KFC Osu has an employee who is deaf.
Haven't felt my heart get this warm, watching her using the sign language to communicate.

We cannot help but express how glad we are too and we hope that we get to see this in other branches soon.
