Their mindset and sheer will to thwart the progress of the hero creates some sort of empathy for the “blowman” and hatred for the “killer”.
It usually is easy to hate the villains-but not the list of villains we have here. We love these ones for the kind of villains they were.
The Joker
There would not be a Batman without a Joker. Joker’s smirk and snarky comments gives the film its humor side. There has been a time or two when we loved Joker than Batman.

Count Dracula plays host to every monster in Hotel Transylvania where he tries to prevent her vampire daughter from marrying her human love interest. Dracula’s funny attempts to separate the couple just hides his antagonistic side.

It is no surprise this Mikaelson is everyone’s favorite. The arrogance and self-confidence the character exudes in The Originals series makes him a fan favorite even when he is on a heart-ripping spree.
Maleficent

Although she seemed to be as cold, ruthless, and manipulative as her sister, she proved to be a sympathetic character, especially given how she helped Eric to destroy her evil sister once and for all.
Squidward Tentacles
Spongebob’s arch enemy, Squidward is as a bitter, very unfortunate, desperate, somewhat depressed and arrogant octopus. He hates Spongebob and Patrick’s easy-going attitude and constantly finds ways to make them miserable.

Swiper, no swiping!..damn we miss our childhood. The sly fox Swiper always caused trouble for Dora the Explorer on her expeditions. We all loved shouting “Swiper, no swiping!” with Dora to stop that fox.
