If you love basketball, then you must look sharp and be at the University of Ghana Basketball court tomorrow.
Golden State Warriors player David West and TJ Warren who plays for Phoenix Suns have arrived in the country for an innovative basketball clinic.
“This is a very personal project for me. I am committed to doing what I can to activate and support the young people in Africa,” West said in a media interview.
“Athletics is the conduit, but it goes much deeper than that. I want to work with the communities, with leaders to bring broader solutions addressing healthcare, education, entrepreneurship and technology innovation,” he said.
The clinic will bring together talented players between the ages of 10 to 18 from multiple regions of Ghana for a day of instruction and personal interaction with the NBA players.
