For most of us, linking Tupac in a romantic relationship with pop icon Madonna was impossible.
But, hey, what can we say? We are millennials.
Tupac had been incarcerated for sexual assault.
Tupac explained that he wished to become a better friend to Madonna, before appearing to say he was breaking up with her because she’s a White woman.
“Can u understand that? For you to be seen with a Black man wouldn’t in any way jeopardize your career. If anything it would make you seem that much more open & exciting,” he wrote in a letter dated Jan. 15, 1995. “But for me at least in my previous perception I felt due to my ‘image’ I would be letting down half of the people who made me what I thought I was. I never meant to hurt you.”

Meanwhile, Tupac had a number of high profile relationships.
At the time of his death, he was engaged to Kidada Jones, a daughter of Quincy Jones
That was after his divorce to Keisha Morris.
But other supposed girlfriends of Tupac have come out to deny that they ever had a romantic relationship with him.
Jada Pinkett Smith and Rosie Perez have both denied ever dating the hip pop legend.
