It is the Greater Works Season everyone.
This International Central Gospel Church (ICGC) mega conference has become an annual event for many Christians in the country who may not be members of ICGC.
Not forgetting all the sermons and teachings from the men of God who led the service yesterday, most people are talking about the “Special Offering”
The special offering are seed money people are expected to pay in anticipation for a particular blessing from God.
If you want to be a Millionaire, you must pay $5,000 or its GHS 21,500 equivalent. Seed for a thousand times more of blessings requires an amount of $1,000 or GHS 4,250, among others. For the very least, to sow a seed of perfection you need to put $70 or GHS 300 in the offertory bowl.
Musician, A Plus and some Ghanaians have raised concerns about this and the increasing commercialization of the church.
“So the poor will not be blessed? I did not see anything like “Seed Of Love or Seed for the Poor,” he said in a Facebook post.
“Look at what Christianity has turned into. Look at what you are doing in God’s name. It’s a shame. God Almighty is watching you,” he said.
