These Celebrities Have Once Been Banned From Other Countries

Beyonce and Jay Z

The way celebrities are celebrated all over the world, you’d think they are all welcomed with open arms everywhere they go but no, most of these celebrities have been banned from making an appearance in certain countries for some reason or the other.

Let’s start with the amazing singer-dancer, Chris Breezy.

Chris Brown made waves in 2009 when he assaulted his then girlfriend, Rihanna. The whole world was mad at the singer for what he did and some countries took action immediately. Great Britain along with Canada and Australia temporarily banned the ‘With You’ singer in 2011.

Beyonce

The Queen Bee was banned from performing in Malaysia because the Muslim leaders felt she was too sexy for them.

JAY-Z

JAY was banned from China because his lyrics were considered way too vulgar for them.

Lady Gaga

The singer was banned from Indonesia. Their reason was that she was simply a bad example for their kids and were worried she would corrupt their children.

50 CENT

The Power producer was banned from Canada because of his criminal record and for promoting gun violence in his lyrics in 2005.

Snoop Dogg

Snoop Dogg was banned from Norway for over two years after he was caught with marijuana at the airport. In fact, the rapper was banned from Norway, the UK, the Netherlands, and Australia. All but Norway have lifted their ban

Paris Hilton

Paris Hilton has been banned from entering Japan due to drug charges in Las Vegas. She’s also been banned from Canada for her 2006 DUI conviction.

Flo Rida

Flo Rida’s 2011 DUI in Miami Beach earned him a ban from Canada.

Akon

Akon was banned from Sri Lanka after his video with David Guetta for their song, sexy chic.  The video had sexy almost naked girls dancing and having a great time in front of a Buddha statue.

Miley Cyrus

The ‘Wrecking Ball‘ star was banned from China when she posted a picture of herself and some friends making offensive “slanty eyes” gestures. (Not cool) The Dominican Republic also banned her from performing in their country because of “questionable morals.”

Should Ghana have banned Chris Breezy for his alleged weed incident?
