Yvette Sonia Anerquaye Has Been Awarded The 2017 Valedictorian At The UG School Of Marine & Fisheries

The University of Ghana, Legon held its July Graduation ceremony yesterday for the college of Basic and Applied Sciences and some schools in the College of Humanities.

The July, 2017 congregation took place at the Great Hall with about 1303 students from the various schools within colleges including; the School of Biological Sciences, School of Agriculture, School of Engineering and Business school graduating.

In the school of Agriculture, 11 students graduated with 1st class honors, 67 with 2nd class upper division, 75 in the second class lower division and 2 students with 3rd class. Students graduating from the BSc Family and Consumer Sciences had only 5 students graduating with 1st class honors,  52 with 2nd class honors and 70 students with 2nd class lower.

The Engineering department also graduated 7 students with 1st class and 57 students with 2nd class upper and 157 students in the 2nd class lower division with only 10 students making up the 3rd class division

Biological Sciences had 8 students with 1st class, 121 with second class upper, 97 with second class lower and 3 students in 3rd class while BSc Physical and Mathematical Sciences had 16 students graduating with 1st class, 118 with 2nd class upper, and 170 with 2nd class lower.

The 2017 Valedictorian from the school of Marine and Fisheries, Yvette Sonia Anerquaye graduated with an FGPA of 3.83.
