INTER-ORPHANAGE GAMES ALL SET FOR THIS SATURDAY

“Orphans are easier to ignore before you know their names. They are easier to ignore before
you see their faces. It is easier to pretend they’re not real before you hold them in your arms.
But once you do, everything changes” – David Platt.
In a country with weak structures to support and fully, develop orphans, the Inter-Orphanage
Games, a yearly games competition held between orphanage homes in the Capital, Accra, seeks to fill the
void and serve as means to support Ghanaian orphans in a fun and innovative manner.
Organized by Gold Label Africa Outreach, Inter-Orphanage Games will host 8 orphanages at the
Lizzy’s Sports Complex for the fourth year running. This year’s editon which builds on previous
editions will help the young ones socialize and compete among themselves in games including
football, basketball, swimming, sack race among others. The young ones will be motivated and inspired by
celebrities, professionals and mentors alongside.
Inter-Orphanage Games has never seized to entertain over the years and it’s set to ignite your
weekend experience as it’s open to all to partcipate and support as a group or individually.
