Asamoah Gyan,Ghana’s leading goal scorer and Africa’s leading scorer at the Fifa World Cup is now Dr. Asamoah Gyan.
The Alfred Noble University conferred a doctorate degree on Asamoah Gyan today at the Faculty of Law of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST).
His excellence on the field and philanthropic works such as giving financial support to hospitals, working on ailing kids’ borehole projects for communities have all contributed to the award.
“It’s good somebody is out there recognizing what I’m doing. I feel honored [by this gesture]. Before, I thought I was just doing it for God, but human beings on this earth have also recognized it,”
