The University of Education has been shut down because of an injunction for a High Court in Winneba.
The injunction affects all the campuses of the university so that is Kumasi, Mampong, Winneba and Ajumako.
The court granted an injunction request on Tuesday by a former Assemblyman, Kofi Kwayera.
According to him the term of office of the council had expired and so he didn’t see why they were still exercising their duties.
The school has to that effect released a press statement signed by their Public Relations Officer directing all campuses to be closed until the hearing of the substantive case on Friday.
