KNUST Website Is Up Again

The website of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) is up running after it went off yesterday in what looked like a hack attack.

It appeared to have been hacked by a hacker who has identified him or herself as Shirley Fiagome.

The web address hosts some school information as the university has employed the use of the website as another means of improving its academic and administration processes.

The hacker posted a lockdown message on the landing page that expresses the hacker’s misgivings about a rather bad content management systems used to build the website.

Written in pidgin, parts of the message reads, “chale adey shy u waa but astill 4 talk dis tin. If de cms u no fi build and maintain am well dn y say u no go use drupal, joomla or wordpress, cos dis tin u build di33 echeck lyt toy car.”
