When the video of a uniformed military officer beating a driver and his mate went viral, the Military Command quickly came out to condemn the incident.
However, that did not stop many Ghanaians from airing their views about the incident.
In the video, the military officer can be seen with a cane whipping a man who is thought to be the mate.
While explaining the circumstances of the incident to Kuulpeeps.com, the Director of Public Relations at the Ghana Armed Forces, Colonel Eric Aggrey-Quarshie said the reckless driving caused an accident on the road for which the military officer reacted by whipping the them.
Social media responses to this story have varied. While some support the immediate military justice, others claim it is abuse and many also see it to be rather funny.
